Everyone has the idiot

"Idiots" by Lars von Trier's film is created with the principles of the so-called Dogme '95, the manifesto of artistic minimalism propagating film art. In short, the film is about a group of people who form a sort of a hippie family. Its members live in the house of his uncle of one of the main characters Stoffer, who is also the leader of the group and the main initiator of "idiots". Implementation of the idea lies in imitating the behavior of people with disabilities, "happenings" are often held in public. Watching quite controversial behavior of the characters, it does not refer to the impression that they make fun of people with limited, on the contrary - create a situation (often awkward), which aim to show the attitude of the society to the people affected by this type of disability.
At the same time the movie has a second bottom. To see them you have to think about the existence of impaired person and its role in social life. What is her point of view? Is it happy? I think "idiot" by Lars von Trier is someone who has no contact with the world around him, making his life is carefree and devoid of purpose.
I'm guessing that the characters also want to achieve a certain type of insulation that can give you unrestricted freedom. It is worth noting that each of them has specific problems and try to escape from them, leaving family and loved ones. Unfortunately, the achievement of those objectives proves extremely difficult to break with the existing life, which is a component connecting the hero with the reality of transformation would mean a complete idiot. From the point of view of a healthy person it is not feasible. Do the characters felt that "idiots" by his ignorance and lack of contact with the world are free from worries, truly happy? It's hard to say, but I think that the film makes it clear that today I have no room for outsiders, you can not simply isolated from the surrounding environment. So if there is no true freedom? Is the only people completely free are real idiots? Undoubtedly, the strongest, the most interesting element of this film is its script. Ambiguous, places absurd "script" is quite demanding for the viewer. In this case, the interpretation of what has been unsaid, it is necessary to work became complete in the eyes of the recipient. I admit that at times the movie is devoid of logic, but after analyzing the individual threads can perceive a certain order and a hidden message in it. The message that came to me was surprising, yet very accurate. Although I'm not sure if that's what he wanted me to tell the director. It should also say a few words about the technical side of the film. Style directed by Danish artist here is very clear, and the production itself has a strong minimalist form.
The image is the second of his "Golden Heart Trilogy" (which includes such titles as "Breaking the Waves" and "Dancer in the Dark"), while the film is one of the first fully realized in accordance with the principles Dogmy'95 manifesto. As a fan of von Trier know his tendency to shoot from so-called camera from his hand. This technique proved to be great in the "idiots", creating the illusion of belonging to a group of heroes viewer. Thanks to this, even though the story is quite "unusual", seems to be very real. The image was so convincing that I asked myself the same question: Are people involved in the world spastykowaniem who lead a life similar to the life heroes? At one time, the movie attracted both admiration and controversy. I personally liked it even though the artist himself stressed that his work is meaningless moments (do not surprise me, given the fact that the scenario was created in only 4 days). In conclusion, let me add that the interpretation given above is only my attempt to understand the "Idiots". The film has left many questions unanswered, urging the viewer to ponder. The work of von Trier's definitely an afterthought, and above all it requires interpretation.

I think that the amount of interpretation is equal to the number of people who have seen the movie. .
