System Restore is your first line of defense and can help you return to a point before the issue started like a time machine. If it doesn't help then you can go back to the beginning. Read about it first in the tutorial above and then try restoring back to before this started. Try it now if System Restore isn't enabled on C drive, to make it available in the future.

If the problem repeats or System Restore doesn't work then check which Windows Updates were installed at Settings > Update & Security > Windows Updates > Update History, uninstall them there or System Restore again, then immediately check for and block the Updates with the Hide Updates tool explained here: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/8280-hide-s...

Even if you've already tried the steps I provide, please repeat them in the order I suggest. Minecraft servers

1) Run the Store app troubleshooter at Settings>> Update & Security> Troubleshoot.

2) Check for and install game updates in the Microsoft Store app > Hub (three dots on the top right) > Updates.

3) Try resetting Minecraft in Windows Settings > Apps > Features and Apps > Minecraft > Advanced Options > Repair or Reset. Restart your computer and try again.

If those all fail then uninstall Minecraft from Settings above, restart PC, reinstall from MS Store Hub (three dots in the upper right corner of the Store app) > My Library.

4) The driver for the Display is so important that updating it often is not enough. So let's try everything possible to make sure it's working properly:

You can upgrade the Display driver via the PC or Display adapter manufacturer's Support downloads web page. This will provide the exact model number, HP Serial No. or Dell Service Tag - as indicated on the sticker on your computer.

You can also look for BIOS/UEFI firmwares, newer chipsets, network, sound, and other drivers by right-clicking in the Start Menu.

If this doesn't give you the latest or ideal driver for what you need, compare it to the driver offered by the Intel driver update Utility here: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/... or the Nvidia Update utility here: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Scan.aspx?lang=e... or the AMD autodect utility here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/P...

For Display issues one fix that is working is to Roll back or Uninstall the Driver on the Display Device > Driver tab, restart the PC to install the driver.

You can also test older drivers using Device Manager > Display device > Driver tab > Update Driver > Browse > Let me Pick.

This will inform you that you've tried all options in addition to Windows Update drivers.

Adjust the screen resolution until it looks and fits best in Settings > Display > System.

5) If nothing else helps then contact Minecraft Support here: https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

I hope this will be helpful. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me updated. If you don't like my post, I will continue to work with you until the problem is resolved.
