Hold the Shift button - Once you have highlighted an area, release the right mouse or touchpad and press the Shift button. This allows you to save the bottom edges of the selected area. To capture the bottom edge, you can move the mouse by moving it up and down.

After that is done, you can release the mouse button or touchpad and tap the Shift key again. This allows you to place the right edge. You can also cycle between the bottom edge and right edge by pressing the mouse button and tapping the shift key.

Press and hold the Space Bar - While you hold down the mouse button, press the space bar.

This allows you to resize and shape your image, as well as reposition it on the monitor. This is useful if you don't want to capture the exact image you are looking for or if you wish to remove any unnecessary items from the highlighted area of your captured image.
