In that case, you will need to learn more about things and portforwanding. Sorry, I can't help.

The second option would be to just rent a minecraft server. I have one myself for myself and 8 other friends. It costs only 5EUR per month. If I like too I can just stop vanilla for a while and play an adventure map with them.

I'm playing on Mac. I wanted to create the server.properties folder to change the rules as specified in the Map Description. After I completed the fourth line, however, nothing changed. I don't know where the server.properties.txt folder is located. I also don't know where you have the banned-ips.txt and the banned-players.txt folders.

Did you restart the server and stop it again? This should create them automatically...

Johni0702 said: You can also use the following command (copy+past it; to paste into the console rightclick inside it and select "Paste"). It will display a few IPs. Normaly you are looking for an IP not to end with 0 or 1. Code: ipconfig /all > out.tmp & findstr "IPv4" out.tmp & del out.tmp

In my case my IP is 192.168.178.23 Here is what it looks like: Code: C:\Users\UserName>ipconfig /all > out.tmp & findstr "IPv4" out.tmp & del out.tmp IPv4-Adresse . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.178.23(Bevorzugt) IPv4-Adresse . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.56.1(Bevorzugt)

All that I get is

IPv4 Address . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.2.8 (preffered) IPv4 Address . . . . . . . . . . . . : 25.130.208.111 (preffered)

Watchig explains how to make servers. He said to rent a server, hypixel's servers are rented. I recommend McProhosting. There are many risks to hosting a server at home. You could be DDoSed and more. I recommend using good hosts such as McProhosting to prevent DDoS attacks. They are also quite affordable so you won't need to drain your computer battery.

Stone123 I don’t know much about server hosts, but there are many bad ones. I am just trying to point him in the right direction for server hosts

Your LAN IP is the initial one. LAN IPs always start with 192.168. The second one is likely hamachi (which uses IPs beginning with 25. ).

I host a server with 1GB Ram at Getvisible. The server is located in Germany and I pay 5EUR per month for a stable server that can support 7+ people.

and they don't work? Minecraft Servers List

Barl LAN servers are only over your network. You can connect to anyone on your network or using your wifi. For a more detailed guide, click here.

Watchig that is a good deal. Remember that one player can eat between 75 and 130 megabytes.

BungeeCord, a program that connects multiple people through portals and the like, is required. BungeeCord is not a plugin. It's also very expensive. And you cannot host more then one server from your computer (unless you have a multi-homed machine). Mcprohosting hosts servers such as hypixel.

Just download the actual mojang server.jar and copy the map in. Just do the exact steps from the Tutorial but use the map you got in your old server.
